Remove your ad from Airbnb search results

They include: your vacation rental is being renovated; you don’t have enough time to take care of it anymore, etc. AirBnb, a San Francisco-based booking portal, offers you several ways to remove your listing from search results without deleting your Airbnb account altogether.

How can I pause a listing on Airbnb?

Want to pause your Airbnb ad and stop receiving bookings through AirBnb for a certain length of time? No problem, just follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your Airbnb rentals area.
2. Then click on Listings and select the ad you want to pause
3. Under Basic Information, go to Listing Status and then click Edit
4. Click on Paused and enter a start and end date
5. Click on Save

Your listing is now paused.

How can I temporarily hide my Airbnb listing?

If you want to hide your listing on Airbnb because you don’t want to rent out your vacation home for an unspecified period, here’s what you need to do:

1. Log in to your Airbnb rentals area.
2. Then click on Listings and select the ad you want to hide
3. Under Basic Information, go to Status of the listing and then click Edit.
4. Click on Not advertised. Then select your reason from the drop-down menu.
5. Click on Not Advertised

Your ad will now no longer appear in Airbnb search results.

How do I delete a listing on Airbnb?

If you want to remove your listing completely and permanently from Airbnb, here’s what you need to do:

1. Log in to the Airbnb rentals section.
2. Then click on Listings and select the listing you want to remove
3. Under Basic Information, go to Status of the ad and then click Edit
4. Click on Disable. Then select your reason from the dropdown menu.
5. Click on Deactivate
