How to Contact Airbnb

At one time or another, as a vacation rental owner, you may need to contact Airbnb for various reasons: technical issues with your account, a blocked calendar, general questions, and so on. In any case, guests need a quick response to their problems, which is often not the case for various reasons. In this guide, we want to help you better understand how to contact Airbnb and what steps you should take.

What to do before contacting Airbnb

Before calling Airbnb support for your short-term rental, you can check out the numerous online resources that might help you find an answer easily:

  • Airbnb Help Center: Here you'll find many articles and tutorials. Use the search bar to ask your question and see if a solution has already been suggested.
  • The Community Hub: Join the Airbnb Host Community Hub, share your knowledge, and benefit from the experience and expertise of the Airbnb community. Search for your question in the FAQs and easily find an answer.
  • Smoobu Guides: We have several Airbnb guides to help you get the most out of the platform. Check them out to find the steps to follow and complete information.

Ways to contact Airbnb

Contact Airbnb via message.

By following this link, you'll be redirected to your Airbnb inbox. There, you can contact Airbnb support, explain your issue, and get a solution quickly.

This creates an "open issue" that the platform will address as quickly as possible. You can return to this open issue to add further information if needed.

Contact Airbnb by phone.

Airbnb offers telephone support by country. In the UK, you can contact Airbnb customer service by calling +44 203 318 1111, and in the US, you can call +1-415-800-5959.

Contact Airbnb through social media.

Social media also allows you to interact with a brand quickly.

Contact Airbnb customer service via Twitter.
If you have a Twitter account, you can contact Airbnb customer service via Twitter.

To do this, go to your Airbnb account:

  1. Go to Airbnb account @airbnb
  2. Click the envelope in the top-right corner of the profile to send a private message.
  3. Then explain your problem in the message window.
  4. An agent must respond as soon as possible.
  5. You can also send a message to the @AirbnbHelp account. We recommend that you do not share important information in a public message, but rather in a private one (bank details, email address, etc.).

Contact Airbnb customer service through Facebook.

You can also contact Airbnb support through Facebook Messenger. To do so, go to the Airbnb US Facebook page or the UK page (country support). Airbnb agents will answer your questions Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Response times may be longer.

Contact Airbnb's Hotline

Developed in 2020, the Emergency Line is a feature of the Airbnb app. It provides 30-second direct access to our safety and support team for hosts and guests facing crises or emergencies during an ongoing reservation.

This feature is available 24 hours before and 24 hours after your booking. This service includes an emergency function.

Submit your feedback through your Airbnb account.

Want to share an improvement, leave a comment, or report an issue? Once you're logged into your Airbnb customer area, you can go to the feedback page and fill out the contact form:

  • What are you talking about? Accommodation, experience, travel.
  • What topic or feature is your opinion about? Airbnb categories, commenting, becoming a host, setting prices, asking for help, managing my bookings, managing my listing, managing my calendar, my payments (payment issues), messages, my account or profile, host rules, Superhost, and others.
  • Add your written comment and send it.

These different methods allow you to contact Airbnb easily. Don't hesitate to make good use of them!
