Most frequent questions about Stripe
In Stripe
Ensure your account is Live and not in Test mode. If you added Stripe to Smoobu in Test mode, you will need to disconnect it and follow the below instructions from the beginning.
In Smoobu
1. Go to Marketplace > Payments > Stripe
2. Click on Connect. You will automatically be forwarded to your Stripe account
3. Log into your Stripe account and fill in the requested info
4. Click on “Authorize access to this account” on the Stripe page
5. You should receive a notification advising: "Stripe was added to your Smoobu Account as a Payment Method." This message confirms the connection.
Please note: In the Smoobu Booking Engine, if Stripe (credit card) is your "Default Payment", choose Stripe Connect instead.Stripe’s automated payment processing and support for multiple payment methods streamline the booking and payment process in Smoobu. This makes collecting guest payments easy, efficient, and reliable.
Stripe is available to businesses in over 45 countries, including most of Europe, North America, Australia, and parts of Asia and Latin America.
Stripe’s dashboard and support documentation are available in several languages, including English, French, German, Italian, Japanese, and Spanish.
